The Meisl Quartet was formed in 2022 and consists of musicians Viola Meisl Haarder, Silas Meisl Haarder, Karla Meisl Haarder and Silke Meisl Haarder.
In the Meisl Quartet, we work to learn, discover and explore universes and compositions created by the greatest masters.
The quartet is taught on a daily basis by chamber music professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Tim Frederiksen, and string quartet maestro Eberhard Feltz from Berlin.
In addition, the quartet collaborates with violist and chamber music professor in Rostock, Simone von Rahden, with whom they have also played in a concert project in northern Germany, with Mozart's string quintets.
The quartet has participated in masterclasses at home and abroad with, among others, Konstantin Heidrich, Johannes Meissl, Heime Müller and members of the Danish String Quartet.
In October 2024, the quartet participated in the "Luigi Nono" International Chamber Music Competition in Turin, Italy, where they won 1st prize.
